Filming on Campus

If you are interested in filming a commercial or documentary project on the Birmingham-Southern College campus, please complete the application request form below.

All requests will be evaluated by Facilities/Events regarding location availability and potential disruption to campus activities. The Vice President for Advancement and Communications and Vice President for Community Initiatives will then review each request to determine compatibility with Birmingham-Southern’s mission. If you need further assistance or updates, email [email protected]. The Communications Department is not able to approve requests or provide updates on the process.

    How to Request Permission

    Complete the application request form. The form will be sent to Facilities/Events.

    • Shots showing the BSC name, logo, or identifiable symbols associated with the College;
    • Shots showing building signs, campus identification graphics, or maps.

    BSC students interested in filming on campus should complete the application. Students are not charged for using campus locations and may make requests at least 14 days prior to filming.

    Media Requests

    All news media and interview requests are handled through the Office of Communications. Email your request to [email protected].
