The swimming and diving
teams celebrate winning the 2015 Southern Athletic
Association Championship in February. The men won
the meet with a record 975 points, almost 200 points
ahead of second-place Centre College. Between
the men’s and women’s teams, the Panthers won
17 individual conference titles. The women placed
second overall in the championship, just 6.5 points
behind champion Rhodes College. Only two years
after they launched, BSC’s swimming and diving teams
are making their mark on the sport. “It’s one of the
strongest teams on our campus, and academically
they really stand out,” BSC Athletics Director Joe
Dean Jr. said. “[Head Coach] Toby Wilcox has done a
phenomenal job.”
Gen. Charles C. Krulak jumped into the pool after the men’s swimming and diving team won this year’s SAA Championship.
