MEMORIES OF A MOVEMENT
1963-2013
Birmingham-Southern College
is partnering with the city of Birmingham
this year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of
the pivotal events of 1963, including the bombing
of the 16th Street Baptist Church, the Children’s
March, and other milestones in the fight for
civil rights. The big story here is what’s
taken place in just half a century.
