Cooper SpiveyExhibit to honor work of late art professor
The Durbin Gallery at Birmingham-Southern will honor the artistic contributions of Cooper "Bud" Spivey in the latest exhibition. "Mirror and Light: The Revelation of Cooper Spivey" will be on display Friday, March 6, through Thursday, March 26.

Symphonic Band to perform locally on March 9
The BSC Symphonic Band will perform at Birmingham's historic Alabama Theatre on Monday at 7 p.m. Selected high school students will perform side-by-side with the band. The concert will feature a varied repertoire of music for wind and percussion, concluding with a full ensemble performance with the venue's Mighty Wurlitzer organ.  

College launches campaign in honor of retiring president
Birmingham-Southern College has launched a fundraising campaign in honor of its 13th president, Gen. Charles C. Krulak, who plans to retire this year.

BSC men win SAA Swimming and Diving Championship
With a meet-record 975 points, the men's swimming and diving team won the 2015 Southern Athletic Association Championship Feb. 14 at the Birmingham CrossPlex. The women finished a very close second to Rhodes, by less than two seconds, in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Birmingham-Southern College will launch its second digital classroom, a partnership with Locust Fork High School, on Monday, Feb. 9.
