GodspellStudents to perform musical "Godspell"
Birmingham-Southern students will produce and perform the musical "Godspell" in only three weeks during the college's January Exploration Term. The two-act production is a joyous celebration of the Gospel According to Matthew through song and dance.

Birmingham-Southern student Maria Philip was recently honored with the 2015 Student Leadership Award by the American Chemical Society (ACS).

E-Term offers BSC students exploratory learning
From Jan. 5-30, Birmingham-Southern College students will explore the major museums, performances, and architectural monuments of New York City and Paris; advance science literacy in the community through a partnership with the McWane Science Center; "travel" to Middle Earth through a literary study of Tolkien's worlds; and even climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

President Krulak announces retirement
Speaking at a campus-wide gathering on Tuesday, Gen. Charles C. Krulak announced his plans to retire as president of Birmingham-Southern College in June 2015. Krulak told students, faculty, and staff that he feels it is the right time to make a leadership transition at the college.
