As you prepare for your life on the Hilltop, there are a few things we need you to do. Use the checklist below to help ensure you don't miss anything and are ready to be a BSC Panther!
2022 Summer To Do list
To be completed in May/June 2022:
- Complete the Course Information Form no later than May 15th for First-Year students and June 15th for Transfer students.
- Complete your Housing Application by June 1st (residential students only - use your BSC username and password you received from Admissions to log in). Know what to bring/not bring to campus when you are moving to the Hilltop.
- Take any relevant Placement Exams no later than May 15th.
- Complete your Health & Medical Insurance Information Forms no later than July 15th.
- Complete your FERPA Form
- Complete your Uniquely Birmingham form (First-Year students only).
- Check Self-Service to complete any Financial Aid requirements. (use your BSC username and password you received from Admissions to log in).
- Submit requests and supporting documentation for academic accommodations, residential accommodations, or meal plan modifications with the Office of Accessibility- submit by May 15th to ensure documentation can be reviewed prior to housing assignments, if appropriate.
- Read through the 1856 tour booklet and the welcome book website BEFORE your summer orientation. Review the Birmingham essentials booklet after summer orientation.
To be completed in July/August 2022:
- Complete your Health & Medical Insurance Information Forms no later than July 15th.
- Follow BSCEngage on Instagram to know the events going on campus.
- Keep checking your BSC email for important updates and information.
- Check out our Technology Guide to get connected and ready for life on the Hilltop.
- If your financial aid award letter references a Parent Loan, get more information at StudentLoans.gov.
- Complete required Panther Prep online courses. Instructions on these important online courses will come to your BSC email. Students will get an email with the direct link to Panther Prep.
- Nelnet Commerce Tuition Paymen Plan - sign up by July 1st.
- Fall Term balance due by July 31st (unless enrolled in Nelnet Tuition Payment Plan).
- Have parents sign up for Person Proxy.
- Students who plan on having a car on campus register for a parking before August 1st.
