Off-campus resources

We will do our best to meet your needs through the staff and resources of Counseling and Health Services. But sometimes, you need extra help. Here are a few places you can turn:

In ANY EMERGENCY, call Campus Police at (205) 226-4700

If you need urgent help of any kind, call Campus Police at (205) 226-4700. They can assist with calling an ambulance, transporting you to medical care, or contacting the after-hours Student Development on-call professional. If there is a mental health crisis, Campus Police or the on-call Student Development professional will contact one of our counselors. A professional counselor is always on call for emergencies

If you have been the survivor of a sexual assault, call Campus Police as soon as possible. They will provide transportation to the Crisis Center for rape response Medical and counseling professionals are available to provide support and information 24 hours a day.
