Norton Board

Internships arranged through the Norton Board provide career insight, expert training, and invaluable experience to students in a learning partnership. This program prepares the professionals of tomorrow to excel in their chosen careers by providing an education enriched by real-world learning experience. Other Birmingham-Southern programs also offer internships and pre-professional experiences, including Pre-Health, Pre-Law, Education, Entrepreneurship, the Hess Center for Leadership & Service, the Office of Exploration Term & Contract Learning, and the Sklenar Center for International Programs, in addition to individual academic departments and faculty members.

The Norton Board structure is designed to provide opportunities for every student, no matter their field of interest. Some suggested matches are shown below. If you don’t see your perfect match, don’t worry—we’re flexible and want to find the best fit for everyone.

It is not required that you match your field of study with a Norton Board Committee. Feel free to explore other areas and opportunities.
