“I didn’t enter college knowing what I wanted to major in. I greatly appreciate my liberal arts education for that reason. I took a couple art classes and fell in love with the art department and all the professors. I graduated from BSC in 2007 and went on to get my masters degree in sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). My professors at BSC prepared me for the harsh critique, heavy work load, and expectations of high craftsmanship my masters program required.”
